Due to the nature of their operation, some enclosed gear cases may require special attention before fresh oil may be introduced to the reservoir. The previous lubricants may have thickened due to oxidation. Sludge and varnish may have formed creating a potential contaminant for the fresh oil.
Flushing Oil is formulated to lower the viscosity of oxidation- thickened, enclosed gear lubricants. This will begin to the clean the reservoir interior before the draining and flushing process. Although it provides excellent solubility for the heavier lubricant, the flushing oil also protects against rust, corrosion and wear.
Following the introductions of flushing oil and an interval of mechanical operation, the used lubricant can be drained for disposal.
To more thoroughly cleanse the reservoir or to safely rinse it from the potentially contaminating
previous lubricant. This oil will aid in the removal of sludge and other oxidized by- products. It is very effective in removing sludge in interior gear case reinforcements and other hard to reach reservoir areas.
APPLICATIONS:
Flushing Oil may be used in most enclosed reservoirs or circulating systems.
Usage Guidelines:
Before introduction of flushing oil, drain an amount of used oil.
BENEFITS:
- LONGER SERVICE LIFE - Oil aid the establishment of longer service intervals for the fresh fill of oil.
- IMPROVED SERVICE LIFE - save time on the maintenance and service of enclosed gear cases.
- IMPROVED LUBRICANT PERFORMANCE -
allow fresh lubricants to perform rather than be contaminated by previous lubricants.
